    Hey there,

Adrian, 23 years old from Australia here. I am heading to Thailand in December for a second time. However this time I am looking to see if I can acquire a work permit and hopefully find employment as a Bartender/cocktailer mixer.

Now I have looked at applying for a working visa as you require this first, but I am not sure about the requirements in order to receive one as it states you need VAT registration or otherwise degree?

I have successfully completed Year 12 and since then been working and have not attended Tertiary Studies or University.

Kindly get in touch with the Thai embassy or consulate in Australia to inquire about the procedures and requirements to apply for the Non Immigrant B visa for employment purposes.

    Hi There,

My name is Stephen. Can you please confirm your trading hours and days over the Christmas and New Year period. Is your consulate open up until the 24th of December?

    Thanks in advance.

For the month of December the public holidays are only December 5th and December 12th. Thai government offices are open as usual during Christmas and New Year. January 2nd and 3rd are also public holidays.
